Although Sergio Busqets and Memphis Depay tried to pull off the game by scoring in the 91th minute and 11th minute of the extra time but the opponent was able to make a comeback after a stunning long-range strike from Rafael Santos Borre. Frankfurt won after the score reached 4-3 on aggregate.
