Puneeth Rajkumar’s ‘James’ to be biggest Kannada release in Karnataka


As the entire cinema-goers, fans and fraternity in Kannada films are gearing up for the release of ‘James‘, its makers are also leaving no stone unturned. From grand promotions to wider release across Karnataka, the film being dubbed as a celebration for all die-hard fans of Puneeth Rajkumar. 

Pegged to be the biggest theatrical release for a Kannada film in Karnataka, ‘James’ will be releasing across 4000 screens in Karnataka alone, on March 17th, in five different languages. Along with its Kannada original, the film has been dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi.

‘James’ comes out as the commercial outing of Puneeth Rajkumar as a lead actor that has been directed by Chethan Kumar of ‘Bahaddur’ fame. The film also stars Priya Anand, Anu Prabhakar Mukherjee, Srikanth Meka, Sarath Kumar, and others. Kishore Pathikonda is the producer and Charan Raj has played the music.

Shiva Rajkumar has lend his voice to Puneeth Rajkumar’s character in the film in a warm gesture from the veteran actor as he had stepped in at the last moment after Appu’s tragic and untimely demise back in October, 2020.
